Community Centered Care & Connection

Henry's Place is a community-centered cat cafe in Burlington, North Carolina, built on the values of self-determination, radical accessibility, dignity, equity, and consent. We're not just opening a place where people can drink coffee and hang out with cats. We're building a third place that honors people's agency, centers those who are usually left out, and treats every being's worth as a given.

Meet Our Rescue Partner

Every cat in our lounge is looking for a home. They come to us through Sparkle Cat Rescue, which focuses on the cats other places tend to pass over: seniors, cats with medical needs, bonded pairs, and shy cats who need a little patience.

Spend some time here and get to know them. If one of them feels like family, Sparkle Cat Rescue handles the application and makes the final match. We don't do same-day adoptions, because a good match is worth a few extra days.

Not ready to adopt? Come sit with them anyway. Every visit helps these cats get closer to a home.
